Podcast Spotlight — The Irish and Celtic Music Podcast

June 6, 2012

Hello and happy Wednesday!

Today’s spotlight shines on The Irish and Celtic Music Podcast hosted by Mark Gunn.  Every episode is jam-packed with some of the finest music in, around, and inspired by the Emerald Isle, and all done by independent musicians.  The music styles range from heartfelt ballads to Celtic rock with plenty of fun drinking songs in between.

Marc does a phenomenal job of putting these shows together.  Although the shows are limited to one or two a month (with a blockbuster double episode every St. Patrick’s Day), the quality more than makes up for it.  You get about an hour and a half of almost straight music that is by far better than the offerings of similar online radio stations.   My rating is a 5 out of 5.
